Immunoassay

Dr. Ludger Klimek is a distinguished specialist in allergology and clinical immunology. He leads the Center for Rhinology and Allergology in Wiesbaden and holds a professorship in special rhinology, allergology, and environmental medicine at the Medical Faculty Mannheim of Heidelberg University. Dr. Klimek serves as president of the German Society of Allergology (AeDA) and the German Allergy League. He is also the national coordinator for Germany in the World Health Organization's ARIA (Allergic Rhinitis and its Impact on Asthma) initiative and board member of the ENT Section of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

His research focuses on allergic rhinitis, allergen-specific immunotherapy, and component-resolved diagnostics. Dr. Klimek has authored several influential publications, including studies on the benefits of molecular allergen diagnostics in allergic rhinitis and the role of allergen-specific immunotherapy in oral allergy syndrome.
