Special Terms of Use for the Siemens Healthineers Events Website(s)

1. Scope
These Special Terms of Use, together with and in addition to the general Terms of Use of Siemens Healthineers, govern the relationship between Siemens Healthineers and the relevant user of the Siemens Healthineers Events website(s) (hereinafter referred to as "You").
2. Registration & Participation
2.1 The Siemens Healthineers Events website(s) provide an international, free-of-charge platform intended to primarily give Siemens Healthineers customers, interested healthcare professionals and Siemens Healthineers employees the opportunity to get access to event sessions and streams, presentations, and – as the case may be and subject to their specific role as speaker, moderator or attendee – to content sharing via screensharing, to expert meetings and live pollings, and to personal chats with Siemens Healthineers representatives, in order to obtain information on products and topics, share experiences on the clinical usage and optimization of care with Siemens Healthineers systems and applications. Unless otherwise announced it is not intended for the general public. Access may be limited by number or other criteria upon Siemens Healthineers’ discretion.
Siemens Healthineers reserves the right to revoke any access granted.
Furthermore, Siemens Healthineers assumes no responsibility if access is impaired or impossible for technical reasons.
2.2 Siemens Healthineers reserves the right to cancel or postpone the entire event or certain chats, streams or discussions. Content or speakers of event sessions may be subject to change upon Siemens Healthineers’ discretion.
2.3 By applying for or confirming your registration, You agree that:
2.4 If You have successfully registered, You may – depending on the respective event – interact with Siemens Healthineers, exchange and network with Siemens Healthineers and/or other users and in compliance with the following rules.
2.5 If you are invited to engage in commenting on a digital board or in a forum regarding event related topics by posting and commenting online, Your posts and comments do not necessarily reflect Siemens Healthineers’ opinion, and Siemens Healthineers does not accept any liability for posts and comments by You or another user.
3. Rules of Communication
3.1 Using the Siemens Healthineers Events website(s) requires all users to communicate with mutual respect and in compliance with the laws applicable to You.
3.2 As the Siemens Healthineers Events website(s) are open for various users Siemens Healthineers reserves the right to delete or comment any content generated by You or any other user.
3.3 You are fully responsible for any post, message or other information posted or shared by You. You agree to indemnify Siemens Healthineers from all third-party claims and any related costs and expenses (including legal expenses) arising from any post, message or other information shared by You.
3.4 When visiting the Siemens Healthineers Events website(s) You must not, for example:
3.5 When sharing Your screen as moderator or speaker, You shall take specific care not to share any confidential data. You are responsible that DICOM-images, footages etc. are anonymized or that specific authorization has been granted by the respective data subject.

3.7 The Rules of Communication as outlined above apply accordingly to Your feedback requested or encouraged to be given by Siemens Healthineers.
3.8 Any content shared, uploaded or otherwise provided will not be tolerated if it (i) aims for or comprises any illegal, unethical, or fraudulent purposes, content or activity, or (ii) is in breach of these Special Terms of Use or any applicable laws, regulations or third-party rights, including those related to data privacy, international communications, and the transmission of technical or personal information or iii) adversely affects the safety, operations and confidentiality of the Siemens Healthineers Events Website(s).
Siemens Healthineers will review relevant content manually by human individuals and will remove content that is not tolerated. No automated systems will be used for the review.
Complaints against decisions by Siemens Healthineers to remove content that is not tolerated may be filed free of charge by electronic means under complaints_DSA@siemens-Healthineers.com within 6 months after Siemens Healthineer's decision. Siemens Healthineers will review and decide about any such filed complaint.
3.9 Siemens Healthineers is entitled to immediately suspend access to the Siemens Healthineers Events Website(s) if, in Siemens Healthineers' reasonable assessment, content posted by You does not comply with these Special Terms of Use. Siemens Healthineers may issue a warning and shall inform You about any suspension without undue delay.
4. Data Protection
For Siemens Healthineers’ employees the Siemens Healthineers Employee Privacy Notice shall apply. For all other users the Siemens Healthineers Marketing Privacy Notice apply.
