About this session
Lung cancer screening (LCS) scans contain information about smoking-related conditions that is not currently systematically assessed. Identifying these common comorbid diseases on CT can increase the value of screening with minimal impact on LCS programs. An AI-based solution for chest CT scan allows automatic detection and 2D-3D measurements of pulmonary nodules (> 6mm), automatic quantification (mm3) of calcium in the coronary artery walls and diameter measurements of thoracic aorta, quantitative analysis of pulmonary emphysema, and measurements of thoracic vertebra heights and density. All results are available in the PACS after 17 minutes.
