About this session
Our Remote Scanning Portfolio, consisting of syngo Virtual Cockpit2 and WeScan3, provides users with remote access to Siemens and third party MRI, CT, PET, and SPECT scanners as well as support from qualified remote radiographers providing expert assistance on MRI scans. Our customer from Universitätsklinikum Essen will demonstrate their take on Remote Scanning live on stage at ECR 2025 and speak about how remote scanning has helped them address workforce shortages, increase access to care, and enable radiographers to work from home!

2syngo Virtual Cockpit is not commercially available in all countries and/or for all modalities. If the services are not marketed in countries due to regulatory or other reasons, the service offering cannot be guaranteed. Preconditions: Expert-i enabled modality from Siemens Healthineers, customer managed remote network infrastructure and appropriately trained personnel operating locally under applicable federal, state, and local laws as to the specific imaging modality(ies), including radiation and contrast are required. Please contact your local Siemens Healthineers organization for further details. Prerequisites for customer managed remote network infrastructure include: Internet connection to clinical network, DICOM compliance, meeting of minimum hardware requirements, and adherence to local data privacy regulations.
3WeScan is not commercially available in all countries. Due to regulatory reasons its future availability cannot be guaranteed. Preconditions: Connection to Smart Remote Services (SRS) infrastructure, syngo Virtual Cockpit, customer managed remote network infrastructure and Expert-i enabled MRI scanner from Siemens Healthineers with appropriately trained personnel operating locally under applicable federal, state, and local laws as to the MRI scanner and contrast are required.
