About this session
The advent of new disease modifying therapies for Alzheimer’s Disease will impact how the disease is perceived and managed. This symposium will explore cutting-edge advances in Alzheimer’s disease detection, treatment, and therapy monitoring, with a focus on diagnostic and therapeutic imaging. The session will feature three expert speakers, each addressing key areas in imaging technology that are transforming our understanding and treatment of the disease. Dr. Jana Ivanidze will discuss the latest developments in PET tracers and PET imaging, highlighting their role in early diagnosis. Dr. Petrice Cogswell will focus on MR imaging for therapy monitoring, specifically ARIA imaging and management. Lastly, Dr. Jacob Dubroff will review the current state of new treatments for Alzheimer’s, with an emphasis on how advanced imaging techniques are critical to both diagnosing the disease early and monitoring treatment responses. Imaging is set to play a pivotal role in both early detection and the long-term management of Alzheimer's disease, providing clinicians with powerful tools to improve patient outcomes. |
