    1. POC Ecosystem

      The epoc system provides bidirectional communication with the data manager, allowing caregivers the ability for device, operator and inventory management, along with quality control. This provides the ability to proactively manage data across the hospital, giving you centralized control over decentralized testing.

    2. Secure Wireless Connection

      The epoc system leverages a wireless connection and seamless integration to data management, to allow actionable test results from each department to be available and connecting the patient, actionable test results, the care team and the therapy delivered.

      This is all accomplished by securing patient data. This data is encrypted to protect patient data against cyber attacks. The connection with data management provides encrypted end-to-end data transmission so the caregivers and the hospital can be confident that patient data won’t be compromised.


    3. Imaging

      The epoc system can provide important information about patients who may be at risk for side effects associated with iodine-based contrast media used for many radiologic diagnostic procedures. Contrast media is nephrotoxic to some patients. Risk factors include volume depletion, hypotension, renal dysfunction, diabetes mellitus, multiple myeloma, et al.

      The epoc NXS host is a market first in handheld blood gas diagnostics to leverage the power of Android, with enhanced processing power and performance, 2GB of memory and long battery life. The slim, lightweight design incorporates a vibrant, HD resolution touchscreen that can be used with gloved fingers and features a large onscreen keyboard. 

      The intuitive user interface is designed to support novices and experts and delivers a streamlined prompt-based test workflow. The software & Host provide audio and onscreen visual prompts when action is required such as the insertion of a test card (or sample injection) to guide users during the test process.

    10. Orange Card

      The epoc Blood Analysis System provides accurate results for a full panel of critical tests, including blood gas, a basic metabolic panel with hematocrit and lactate, in less than 1 minute after sample introduction at the patient’s side.

      • Test Cards are single-use and automatically calibrate prior to sample introduction.
      • The system supports arterial, venous, or capillary whole-blood samples.
      • Test Cards are bar-coded with lot number and expiration dates for built-in, automated quality assurance. The system prevents use of expired test cards. 
      • Test Cards can be stored at room temperature. 
      • Only 92 μL of sample is required.
